An ingenious, plastic-free, 100% biodegradable range of washing-up and cleaning accessories skilfully hand-made from plant materials on Michael's parents farm in the Philippines.
An effective sponge for mopping up spills and cleaning kitchen surfaces. Each sponge is beautifully hand-made by seamstresses in the Philippines. A cotton outer with colourful top panel taken from a recycled flour sack, is filled with absorbent pith from the outer husk of the coconut . Each top panel is unique. Pith can absorb up to 9 times its weight in water and contains compounds which resist bacterial and fungal growth. After use, rinse and gently squeeze out excess moisture then hang up to dry.
