| Carbon Footprint• Earth Friendly Products are made on the US East coast in New Jersey.• Earth Friendly factories use solar power, recycle water and packaging materials • Raw materials sourcing is as local as possible • Remember that even UK producers of green cleaners import ingredients as many of the plant ingredients needed to make green cleaning products are not grown in our climate e.g. Oranges, Lemons, Olives, Coconuts, Soya. • Some bottling from bulk takes place at our warehouse in the UK. Our ambition is to manufacture in the UK. With your help we can get there. • We only import by sea in full containers which is far more efficient than road. • We never air freight. • We work from home. US employees are encouraged to cycle to work. Michael's workers live locally • Earth Friendly Products range is far more concentrated than competitors. • ECOS Laundry Liquid is 3 times more concentrated than competitors meaning lower transport CO₂ emissions per wash • Taking into account product concentration, Earth Friendly laundry liquid uses less transport CO₂ per wash than importing normal concentration laundry liquid from Belgium • The Michael's Original range is made entirely by hand using no factory processes whatsoever. • No electricity or machinery is used in the farming processes • All water on the farm is recycled • Product is efficiently shipped by sea in wooden crates to take up minimum space possible. | |||||||||||||||||||
